About
Hello, I'm Nic.
In my fifth grade english class, my teacher introduced the new rule of letting us draw in our binders at any time. Even though the intention was probably just to get us all to sit still and stop walking around during her lessons, I loved the opportunity to draw stormtroopers and recreate skateboard graphics. Pages filled my binder and then proudly filled my bedroom walls. After my parents saw my level of talent, they said I should try something else.
My career has spanned across portrait photography for authors, running cameras for a few documentaries, and most recently, leading talented designers to create websites for companies big and small. Along the way, I’ve picked up a few awards, spoke at a few conferences, and been in a couple magazine features.
Now, I love building websites for small, local businesses. My skillset fixes a lot of problems early companies have, and my background in SEO helps them have a very successful first few years with the ever-changing tech landscape.
In my free time, I have a crippling addiction to running ultramarathons and freediving.
My Mission
Play a small part in enabling others to follow their business dreams, by crafting highly-functional and long-lasting websites.
Services
My obsessions in design are centered around scalability, enablement, and effectiveness.
Branding
Let's help you stand out among your competitors.
Website & Product Design
Be it having a loud website or a highly-functional website for your insurance company, I've been part of and seen it all.
Website Development
Exclusively using no-code development tools, but not foreign to getting my hands dirty with code.
Photography
I was a full-time photographer for 5 years before I got into the Design + Development space. Headshots, Architecture, and Landscape Drone shots are my specialty.
*I do not offer video services any longer.
My Approach
Keep it stupid simple, solve the problem.
01
Define the Problem
I believe in defining exactly what needs to be accomplished before starting anything.
02
Design the System
I don’t believe in unscalable projects, or building anything in a disposable manner.
03
Ship to Learn
I don’t believe experiences I build are ever “done”. There is always something to be improved, built upon, or reach a new audience.
